$45.63 includes flowers wrapped in burlap, taxes, and local delivery. | Nope. Our arrangements are custom, daily designs. What we do guarantee is beautiful, unique, and fresh! |
We only use locally grown flowers to minimize carbon footprint and not participate in unethical trade practices. We do everything possible to reduce waste including repurposed vases, reused burlap, bike courier, and more. We believe in up front pricing, without all the late-stage markups and psychology of “99.” |

OMG YES! In fact, there were 72 choices for Birthday alone! They offer a ton of choices, and most seemed to be around a $39.99 price point |
Cheap flowers” seems to be a recurring theme in their site.
They buy direct from growers. This means mostly developing countries, who are being systematically abused, with what should be intolerable labor and trade laws.
When you order from them, think of someone working 16 hours a day for less than $6.
Can’t forget carcinogens! Yes, flowers from developing countries have different standards, and 20% of chemicals used in developing countries are known carcinogens and are banned in the US.

There are a TON of choices here, too! 33 on the Best Seller page alone! Price points seemed to be $40-$60. Options for your friend that wants flowers arranged to look like an alcoholic beverage too! holla! |
They recently introduced an ethical line after a complaints from change.org. Whoo-hoo to change.org!
So, looks like they are doing the bare minimum to do the right thing. Looks like a PR move, and not a real change, but we're hoping for the best.
They buy a lot of imported flowers. This practice directly abuses growers in 3rd world countries.
By the way, you should have seen these guys on Undercover Boss – it was classic!!!

Holy Cow! 106 whopping choices for Birthday. How will I ever decide which one to give Mona? I'm overwhelmed!!! Prices were 'starting at" $40 to $50 |
I couldn't find one. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of Florists' Transworld Delivery, Inc, which sounds like a BIG company. The history is pretty neat. These guys started when it was done over telegraph. So, the business model hasn't changed too much – local florists, one contact point. Where do the flowers come from? Heck if we know. |

66 choices for birthday. Whew! Seems like the prices are around $40-60, but they range quite a bit! |
Umm – buy from us and meet Faith Hill? Just kidding. Seriously, they are all about saving local florists. Which is cool. It's just unfortunate that you don't know where the flowers actually come from – could be Columbia, Ecuador, or a local grower. It's a secret, I suppose! Seems like their main concern is that they don't like flowers that come in cardboard boxes. And, we agree with that., just for completely different reasons. They seem to be upset that it's stealing their business. We're not happy because it means more packaging, more transport costs, and more environmental damage. |
