• How big is this gardenia plant? It has a ~6" soil diameter and stands about 12–15" tall. Actual measurements may vary thanks to Mother Nature!
• What's the best way to water this gardenia plant? For easy watering, gardenia ships in a plastic grower's pot that nestles inside its custom whitewashed decorative metal vessel, which measures just under 7" tall and just under 7" wide. Just pop it out when it's time to water so excess water can drain.
• When does this gardenia plant bloom? With proper care and conditions, gardenias usually bloom in late spring to early summer. We ship plants with buds, not open blossoms, so you (or your lucky recipient) can enjoy the fragrant flowers for as long as possible. We pick plants with as many buds as we can, but the final count is up to Mother Nature!
• Is this gardenia plant safe for pets? Not quite. According to the ASPCA, gardenia plants can irritate furry friends' digestive tracts if ingested. Keep pets safe by keeping this plant out of their reach or, better yet, behind closed doors.
