Star Power

• “Star Power” is a living blue star fern. Fern comes potted in a plastic grower's pot that measures 6" across the mouth. Actual plant height varies from 10-15".
• Plant ships with a perfectly paired stepped polystone vessel. To keep the pot in top condition, pop the plant out of the vessel before watering. 
• Ferns will be ferns – Like all ferns, blue stars love humidity so naturally humid parts of your home like bathrooms and/or laundry rooms are great options for placement. Just make sure the location isn't too bright or too dark (blue stars thrive in a just right setting of indirect medium natural light) or too hot (these little houseplants are happiest when temps hover somewhere between 55 and 80 degrees F). 
• Hydration, hydration, hydration – Set up a watering schedule that leaves your blue star's soil consistenly moist but not waterlogged. Curling and/or browning fronds are a sign that your fern is getting too little water and/or not enough humidity whereas yellowing foliage can be a sign of overwatering and consequent root rot.
