“Scents and Sensibility” is a hand-tied bouquet featuring eight assorted Oregon-grown lilies and a flourish of fresh foliage (think camelia and one to two types of eucalyptus). Expect a petal palette of pinks to burgundies!
How does this lily bouquet arrive to me or my recipient? This lily bouquet arrives ready for a quick trim and a vase of your choosing from your private collection. Pro tip: Each stem has an average of 3 or more blooms so choose something big enough to give the 30+ blossoms room to stretch their petals! We prefer something 7-8" tall with about 4" opening.
How long does it take lilies to bloom? Lilies may take up to a few days to fully bloom. If you're ordering for a special event, please choose a delivery date 2-3 days before the big day to make sure your buds are blossoming. In a hurry? A fresh trim and warm vase water can help speed things up.
What's the deal with lily pollen? Lilies produce pollen which may stain light fabrics and furniture. Protect your precious materials by removing the lily's anthers with a damp paper towel as soon as the lily blossoms.
Are lilies safe for pets? According to the ASPCA, many of the flowers and foliage we and other florists use aren’t safe for pets but lilies are especially toxic. Keep you and your's furry friends safe by keeping “Scents and Sensibility” out of their reach or behind closed doors.
