"Match Point” is a bouquet featuring twenty farm fresh Oregon-grown hyacinth!
What color hyacinth should I expect with this arrangement? Our farm partner grows blue, purple, pink, white, yellow, and peach hyacinth. Expect 1-2 colors per bouquet. Which colors we send will be a surprise! Sorry, we cannot accommodate specific requests. We recommend ordering as often as possible to experience the full range our farmer has to offer!
Is hyacinth fragrant? Hyacinth is a naturally fragrant flower. The strength of the natural fragrance depends on the variety/color. For this reason we do not recommend gifting hyacinth to scent sensitive folks.
Why does hyacinth sometimes arrive with a little dirt around the bulb? We ship hyacinth with part of the bulb intact so they arrive in tip-top shape and last as long as possible. Although we do our best to clean the bulb prior to shipment, some dirt may hide in the layers surrounding the bulb and stem. Simply brush or wash away and enjoy! Using an opaque vase also helps!
Why shouldn't I trim hyacinth? Although we recommend trimming 1/2-1"+ off most flower types, we do not recommend this for hyacinth. Not only can it potentially shorten hyacinth vase life, it can also release a sap that some people find irritating to their skin. If you insist on cutting down your hyacinth, please wear gardening gloves and wash your hands well after handling.
