“More Spring Mix” is a bouquet featuring fifty (50!) signs of the spring to come – daffodils, tulips, and hyacinth – in a spring rainbow inspired petal palette!
How does this bouquet ship? Tulips, hyacinth, and daffodils are wrapped in paper and burlap, tied up with a ribbon, and zip tied in a Farmgirl branded shipping box that delivers overnight to you and your recipient.
Are there special care tips for this mixed bouquet? Although we recommend trimming 1/2-1"+ off most flower types, we do not recommend this for hyacinth. So once the bouquet arrives, trim 1/2-1" off the stem ends of the tulips and daffodils but leave the hyacinth alone. Remove any less than lovely looking foliage and place arrangement in a vase.
What vase should I use for this bouquet? We like something opaque that stands about 6" tall with a 5-6" opening! We recommend an opaque vase because hyacinth ships with part of its bulb intact so it arrives in tip-top shape and lasts as long as possible. Although we do our best to clean the bulb prior to shipment, some dirt may hide in the layers surrounding the bulb and stem and dirty up the water.
How long will it take this bouquet to bloom? Tulips, hyacinth, and daffodils all take a day or two to "crack" open so if you're ordering this bouquet for a special event please choose a delivery date a couple of days before the special ocassion.
